OUR STORY
It all began on the campus of Aston University, where Kshitij was studying for his Masters and Devanshi was an alumnus lending a helping hand. Since then, we have toiled on essays, supported each other through professional achievements and been on many adventures together.
Despite being total opposites of each other, we found common ground in our shared love for food, travel and family. Whether it was taking a trip to Mumbai for Ganesh Chaturthi or dancing till our soles hurt during Navratri, we’ve built countless memories together. In the summer of 2025, we were blessed to have our immediate family around us to witness our civil ceremony in the English countryside.
This brings us to our big day – our wedding on the serene Goan coast. The Thankis and The Chavans are absolutely delighted to invite you to a 2-day celebration, filled with lots of love, laughter and food. We sincerely hope that you are able to join us in celebrating one of the most important moments of our lives.

We kindly request all guests to arrive at Prainha Resort by the Sea by 11am on 21st February 2026 to allow for any delays and to give you some time to settle in. Further details of all of the events will be shared with you closer to the time.
Further details of all the events will be shared with you closer to the time. Upon arrival, you will receive an itinerary which details each event.
There are two airports in Goa which you can fly into. We’d personally recommend flying into Goa Dabolim (GOI) as it is slightly closer to the resort, with a rather scenic drive on the way. However, Manohar International (GOX) is also only an hour from the resort. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the wedding party.
There is a text box on the RSVP form that you can use. Alternatively, please let the wedding party know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
While there are no official dress codes for the events, the following can be used as a guide to help inspire your looks:
- Sangeet – Midnight Sparkle – think starry shimmer and festive flair
- Haldi – Shades of Sunshine – think hues of turmeric, marigold and ivory
- Wedding – Heritage in Bloom – go full traditional glam, colours your choice!
- Gala Dinner – Celebrations continued – keep your wedding look or slip into something lighter
Please bear in mind, all events will be outdoors in paved/grassy areas so bring comfortable shoes.
Weather in February is forecasted to hit highs of about 32 degrees celsius, with average day time weather being around 27-28 degrees.
